One builder. Full platforms. No fluff.

Syntric Labs started because too many small businesses were getting priced out of software that actually fits. The options were always the same: spend $30k+ at a traditional dev shop, or cram your workflows into generic SaaS tools that weren't designed for how you operate.

I'm Chandler Merrill, and I build the third option. Custom software — scoped to your business, built fast, and priced fairly. Not a team of 12 billing by the hour. Just one person who understands both the technology and the operational problems it's supposed to solve.

I started Syntric because I kept seeing the same pattern: business owners who were sharp, growing, and running into walls that better software could tear down. They didn't need an enterprise platform. They didn't need a consultant to tell them what they already knew. They needed someone who could listen, understand the problem, and build the fix.

That's what I do. I've shipped full multi-tenant platforms in weeks. I've replaced $30k agency quotes with better systems at a fraction of the cost. And I stick around after launch — because software that works in staging doesn't always work in production, and I don't consider the job done until it does.

How We Work

Principles, not pitches

01

Build over buzzwords

We don't sell a vision. We build working software. If it can't ship, it doesn't matter how good the slide deck looks.

02

Understand first, build second

Every project starts with learning your business. We don't assume we know what you need — we ask, we listen, and then we scope. The best systems are designed from the inside out.

03

Speed without shortcuts

Fast delivery doesn't mean cutting corners. It means focused work, clear scope, and no wasted cycles. Two weeks to a full platform isn't rushed — it's efficient.

04

Stay until it works

We don't hand off a codebase and disappear. We stick around through launch, through the first real users, through the edge cases nobody planned for. The job isn't done until your team is running the system confidently.

Chandler Merrill

Chandler is a software engineer and builder who works directly with small businesses to design and ship custom platforms. His approach is hands-on: he's in the meetings, he's writing the code, and he's available when something breaks. No account managers, no handoffs, no layers between you and the person building your system.

Let's talk about what you're building.

Whether you've got a clear project in mind or you're just starting to think about what better systems could look like — the first step is a conversation.
